The Avengers reassemble following Sersi’s destruction of Avengers Mansion. Has their teammate fallen outside their grasp of control? Plus, Sersi nearly loses it when she discovers the true source of Proctor’s powers.

The Eternals come to the Avengers' aid after Sersi's attack, and they realize that Sersi's madness is being caused by Proctor, who now has Sersi as his prisoner. Proctor tells the story of how on another Earth they were lovers until she left him and drove him mad, and Sersi sees the depths of Proctor's madness with her own eyes.

Meanwhile, the Avengers attempt to understand who Proctor's counterpart is on their Earth, hoping that information will lead them to him. Quicksilver confronts the Black Knight about Crystal, and both witness the results come in on Proctor. Proctor is the Black Knight.
